There are a number of ways you can be supported to prepare for
work if you have a special educational need or disability. These are:

• Apprenticeships
• Supported internships
• Traineeships

These will provide you with work-based learning that will help you
to have first-hand experience of work and also to study if you need
to. Time is usually split between the workplace to learn key skills ‘on
the job’ and going to college to study for the qualification.
