Eagle House School & nursery 'The Nest'

We aim to open young minds by offering them a stimulating and inspirational environment in which to learn and grow. We nurture and guide them as they embark on their journey, enabling them to face each adventure and challenge with confidence. We instil a desire for knowledge, a respect for each other and the world around them and the motivation to succeed in all they do. We are committed to providing all round excellence and our unique relationship with Wellington College benefits all the children as they prepare for senior school and beyond.

The Nest takes children who turn three on or before August 31st. The children can arrive any time after 8.00am and stay until 12.40pm or 3.30pm. All children attend for a minimum of five mornings and everyone stays for lunch each day.  We also have pre-nursery sessions available for children who are rising three. They may join us in the term in which they turn three. We participate in the Government-funded Early Years scheme which provides financial support for parents until their child is five years old.

Local Offer Description

Eagle House is an independent, co-educational prep school with approximately 60 pupils in the Early Years department. We are located between Crowthorne and Sandhurst in Berkshire. We have a close relationship with Wellington College and many of our pupils move there at 13. The rest move on to other leading independent senior schools. Education at Eagle House is about ‘Learning for Life’ and this vision is very much at the heart of Eagle House. Children are central to all we do. Our school is a way of life for all pupils. We unashamedly offer lots and know that busy children are happy and fulfilled children. We are in the business of teaching children to a high standard, turning them into confident and interested learners but the Eagle House experience offers more than this. Learning for Life means that children benefit from an all-round education. They can feel confident in the classroom, on the games field, on the stage, in the concert hall and in the community. We want our children to learn and each individual is given the chance to stretch him or herself in every area. We instil a desire for knowledge, a respect for each other and the world around them and the motivation to succeed in all they do. Our Golden Eagle programme offers a wealth of activities that allow us to make the most of our wonderful environment, encouraging independence and leadership. Caring for children as they grow and learn is the most important job we do. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff works to make sure all children are supported and happy. Learning for Life at Eagle House opens the doors to all sorts of opportunities and this means children who are highly motivated and enthusiastic in all they do.
