The Ark Pre School

We are based at Crowthorne Baptist Church on the High Street in Crowthorne.

At The Ark we aim to: Enhance the development and education of children aged between two and five years, in a parent-involving group; build confidence in the children by learning through play; develop social skills, encourage spiritual awareness, meet emotional needs, develop intellectual abilities and increase physical co-ordination; provide a warm, loving, caring and happy group within a Christian environment.

The Ark is open every weekday morning from 9.15am - 12.15pm, term-time only. We also have lunch club on a few days per week, where children bring their own lunch, from 12:15 -13:15 (these days vary, according to demand so please ask for details at the time of application.)

Local Offer Description

We are a Christian Pre-school. We have up to 20 children per session (sessions run from 9.15-12.15, term-time only). We also offer a lunch club three days a week (depending on numbers wishing to join), which allows a social time for the children to eat a packed lunch together. The age of the group ranges from 2  years to school entry. We meet in a hall at the rear of Crowthorne Baptist Church. The hall has it's own outside play area. Our vision is to be a welcoming, caring, happy group where all children can learn and develop within a Christian environment. Our mission is to achieve this by including and valuing families from all backgrounds with close liaisons with parents. We ensure that all children reach their full potential. Our close links with the church help us to share our Christian ethos.
