We are a council run service to assist those living in the Bracknell Forest are who are wishing to address their alcohol or substance use. Operating from a discreet office, our staff sensitively support individuals in a confidential manner.
All clients are allocated a keyworker who will assess them and offer ongoing one to one support at a frequency which suits them. We offer an array of both structured and open groups, alternative therapies including acupuncture, opiate substitute therapy and support groups for the family and friends of those suffering from addiction. The team works closely with other services such as housing, jobcentre plus, the community mental health team and children's social care to provide a collaborative, holistic recovery plan tailored to each client's needs.
We accept referrals from other professionals, but a large portion of our client base referred themselves into treatment. A completed referral form is required from other agencies, whereas people referring themselves only need to drop in to complete a short screening form with a member of our staff as a first port of call.
There is no minimum level of consumption which warrants an individual eligible for our service, only the desire to change.
