St. Michael's School House After School Club

School House is situated in a pleasant Victorian house in the heart of the local community, boasting a large secure all weather garden and five theme indoor rooms. Children and young people have access to otdoor areas at all times, they also have access to the school playground, field, adventure play area and sports facilities.

St Michaels School Hoouse believes in the principle that "The right to play is a childs first claim on the community, because play is children's training for life. No community can infrnge that right without doing deep and lasting harm to the bodies and minds of its citizens."

We believe in the Playwork ethos and Playwork principles and work with these in mind, we follow the sixteen play types.

We believe that all children and young people should have the opportunity to play, challenging themselves, experience risk, gain new wxperiences and take part in activities in a safe, secure and homly environment.
