Shand, Roxanne (RoxyRoos Childcare)

Hello, I am a 37 year old friendly, fun and reliable Ofsted registered child minder. I have 3 girls of my own (4, 7 and 11 years old). I am married and have 1 OAP chocolate Labradors and a puppy whippet.

I offer a safe and secure place for children to learn and thrive. I aim to create a home from home environment and strive to help children to settle and be happy.

I have 3.5 years experience of working as a childminder and have undertaken the relevant courses to become registered. I am also a mummy to 3 very energetic little girls. The children that I child mind range from 6 months up to 11y ears of age. We do lots of exciting activities, including arts and crafts, imaginative play, outdoor play, playgroups, childminding groups, the lookout discovery centre and lots more.

As a registered childminder I follow the Early years foundation framework and help each child to reach their full potential and to become ready for school. I work very hard in making my childcare environment fun, happy and healthy.

Before becoming a childminder I was a registered adult nurse, working in hospital and the community for the past 10 years.
