Having 3 wonderful children of our own (9,5, 20 months) I'm fully geared up for your little one to join us on our adventures. Living next door to the forest were always out and about or playing in our large open plan home.

Specializing in Special needs my experience of 16 years as a sensory session play leader, it is my passion to deliver an exceptional service to all. Everyone will have the opportunity to play freely and explore their love for the world in their own unique way.

Qualifications include HBCA for childminding, Full First Aid, Makaton Level 3, Safeguarding, PEG experience, Multi sensory play exploration trainer, Matrix Chair and clamping experience.

Holiday care, Ad Hoc care and regular care available. I will be as flexible as I can be to suit your needs.

Description

Working with learning disabilities for 16years as a session development officer for many abilities. I'm now at home with my children and hope to provide the same fun stimulation and education to my home environment for your child. I very excited on this new adventure and would love the opportunity to welcome your child into our home for respite or childcare.

 

I've vast experience with The autistic spectrum, PMLD 'Profound and multiple learning disabilities' Mild learning disabilities, communication difficulties and challenging behavior. I can be quite flexible, its always worth an ask if I can help.

Hi! I'm Sara, living in Bracknell Hanworth serving The Pines School and Preschool. Ive a wonderful home for your child to grow and learn in. With a room dedicated to play and exploring, and a varied diary throughout the week, every child is welcomed. A large garden with trampoline and living next to the forest, were never bored.

 

I've part time spaces in September for 2 under 5.

Ofsted registered, registered for 2,3,4 year old funding.

First Aid trained.

LDAF level 3.

Pacey Course in childcare completed

Safeguarding and risk assessments in place.

I've vast experience with sensory play and learning disabilities. My 3 children are looking forward to playing with you very soon.

1: How does the setting identify children with additional needs or SEND?

I've 16years vast experience with learning disabilities and fully welcome everyone into our home. I've level3 makaton and skilled in sensory play. Feel free to have a visit and see how I can help.


2: How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?

A daily diary is completed alongside regular messages nd pictures throughout the day.


3: How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?

I include everyone in our home. Working together we make a stimulating, safe and fun place to grow. Each child is unique, with excellent communication between us both your child will have every chance to be the best version of themselves.


4: What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?

Our home is accessible for all needs. I regularly review equipment and seek out redources to challenge and excite your child. Communication is our focus and I have a range of resources to suit your child. Please let me know if I can get something in for your child specifically.


5: What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?

I do not operate at full capacity ensuring your child recieves the correct and deserved support needed.


6: How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?

I will use EYFS trackers and compulsory checks. I will inform you regularly of progress and liase with other professionals when necessary.


7: How do you ensure children with additional needs or SEND can be included in the same activities as other children, including trips?

I will liaise with you and make reasonable adjustments to include every child in every activity.


8: How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?

Accessible and open plan.
