Other notes

As we are just off J12 of the M4, our members come from Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and north Hampshire.

We are a small, friendly club facilitated by volunteers made up from parents, guardians, carers and foster carers.

Beyond football playing and skills development, benefits to children include a wide range of social skills such as:

  • how to make friends
  • creating and developing attachments
  • building confidence
  • learning patience
  • developing empathy and understanding of the needs of others
  • being part of a team
  • boundary and behaviour management

Parents and carers also have an opportunity for a little respite, including during school holidays :-) to catch up with others over tea and coffee and then go shopping afterwards at Sainsbury's hypermarket and the Reading Oracle!

We look forward to meeting you!

See our Frequently Asked Questions in our leaflet.
