Local Offer Description

Little Blossoms Childcare Ltd. Harmanswater has been running for 25 Years and has recently moved location to The Parks Community Centre in September 2016. We operate from a hall in a community building. We are a free flow setting with the use of a large enclosed outdoor play area, we also make use of the area around us and use the local park and go on nature walks.

The setting serves The parks, Harmanswater and the surrounding areas, providing sessional and day care suited to the parents.

The setting is open term time only from 8.30 until 15.30 and as we offer flexible hours the children can choose a variety of hours and sessions.

The setting supports a number of children with learning difficulties and also supports children who speak English as an additional language.

The pre-school holds a healthy eating award, and is an ECAT (every child a talker) setting.

All staff are trained on the EYFS and attend regular meetings to update any changes in legislation, we have 1 SENCO on site who attends regular training and we update training continuously to provide best practice.

All members of staff are assigned to a job role within the setting which cover health and safety, manual handling, equal opportunities, behaviour management, SEN, food hygiene, safeguarding and first aid; all staff have relevant qualifications for their roles and attend regular training.
